My 18th birthday weekend!
Hey guys! So, on the 2nd May it was my 18th birthday! It was such a good couple of days and i loved spending time with my family and boyfriend, it was perfect!
I thought it would be a good blog post to show you guys what i did!
Hope you enjoy!
On my actual birthday on the Friday i spent some of it with my family, opening presents having a few drinks that sort of thing. I got the most amazing cake ever as well, a disney princess cake! (i swear, i am 18)
BAM, now lets take a moment to appreciate how amazing this cake is
After we'd done presents and things my boyfriend took me out to dinner at a lovely italian restaurant! If you know me at all, you know that italian is my FAVOURITE type of food, i practically live on pizza anyway.. but i resisted the temptation to get pizza and i got the most amazing linguine carbonara! We also had a bottle of prosecco as well, which was lovely! Overall, it was a perfect evening and a perfect start to my birthday.
On the Saturday my family and my boyfriend all went to york for the day! York is not too far from where we live and it's such a lovely city to visit, if you live near i'd suggest going for the day!
My dad forced me into going to the railway museum first, which i wasn't thrilled about but i ended up really enjoying it! We first went into their cafe which is all based like a train, so the seats are old style train carriages, which was cute!
After having a coffee we had a look around the museum, and here are some photos from there!
Then we went into the city of York to do some shopping! I tried to go into more shops that you can't really find in my local area, because i go there any time, apart from when i went into boots... I ended up heading to the benefit counter and my bank balance cried. I bought a new BB cream, the porefessional and a cleansing kit too! I shouldn't be allowed to visit any make-up stand because i can NEVER SAY NO. *sigh*
We then all had a look around the market stalls, i'd never seen the market in York before and it was so lovely! They had some really unique and sometimes unusual things, which was cool to see. But really the rest of the day it was spent walking around the shops and spending time with my family and my boyfriend, especially when the weather was great!
Here are some more photos from my day (mostly just me and Brian on the train but w/e)
Enjoy!
Hope you enjoyed that post, i know it wasn't anything too interesting but i thought it would be nice to share with you!
How did you spend your weekend? Go anywhere nice? Let me know!
